For our individual assignment under the Intercultural Communication course, Dr Massila instructed us to pick a country and analyze its culture in the intercultural context. Each week, we had 2 to 3 students present the country they chose. Masaya Ono, our Japanese exchange student, chose his home country - you can view his presentation in the video above.

Broadening Cultural Horizon or BCH in short is an intercultural event where students from MC 247 are required to conduct an event that curates a cultural theme. The first Intercultural Day was held back in 2016 and in the year of 2019, BCH is the latest iconic cultural event that was held at Menara SAAS, UITM Shah Alam on the 29 th of April 2019.  BCH aims to celebrate cultural diversity and invites intercultural communication bases to the public. Since it is a modernized era, it is important to understand and practice intercultural communication, as a whole. There were a number activities conducted on the day such as cultural booths, sharing sessions from speakers of the industry and also a cultural fashion walk.
